That is both inefficient and frustrating! How about posting your service request on our website - www.ahoythere.com? Our site is a meeting ground for service users and service providers and one of the business problems we're trying to address is the 'ships passing in the night' scenario of buyers and suppliers failing to make their ideal match. Posting a service request is free and service providers only pay us when they have secured business (no win, no fee). We've not been going long but we do have a firm of handymen registered in the Manchester area who might be very interested in acting as your agent/contractor for B&Q.
